Product Designer · Vancouver
Core banking flows and the shared design system behind them, across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Great products begin with understanding people.
I've spent the past decade designing complex digital products where clarity matters. From digital banking and wealth management to enterprise platforms, I've helped transform dense, highly regulated workflows into experiences that are easier to understand and use.
That work taught me that great product design isn't about making things look simple. It's about understanding how people think, work, and make decisions before designing anything.
I came to design through anthropology, and it continues to shape how I approach every project. I'm naturally curious about human behaviour, how people adapt to technology, where systems create friction, and how thoughtful design can reduce complexity rather than add to it.
Along the way, I've designed products, built design systems, taught hundreds of aspiring designers, and helped shape UX education at BrainStation. Today, AI is a natural part of my design practice, helping me prototype, build, and validate ideas faster. Projects like Gusty, a backcountry wind forecasting app designed and shipped in under a week, reflect how I work today: curious, hands-on, and always building.
When I'm away from the screen, you'll usually find me skiing, cycling, exploring Vancouver with my family, or working on the next product idea that refuses to leave me alone.
